Sean Burton Sean Burton is the Chief Executive Officer of Cityview, a firm specializing in development and operation of commercial real estate and workforce housing in the western United States.

Mr. Burton served eight years as President of the Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners, which oversees Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Van Nuys airports. He also served for five years on the Los Angeles City Planning Commission, where he chaired the subcommittee overseeing approval of the proposed National Football League stadium. He is a member of the Young Presidents Organization and the Real Estate Roundtable. Mr. Burton also served in the Defense Intelligence Agency and the Commander Third Fleet Units of the United States Navy Reserve.

Prior to joining Cityview, Mr. Burton was an executive in the Corporate Business Development and Strategy Division for Warner Bros., where he was responsible for strategic investments and corporate venture capital. His other professional experience includes serving as a transactional attorney at O’Melveny & Myers, LLP and in the White House during the Clinton Administration. Mr. Burton is a graduate (cum laude) of the New York University School of Law and the University of California, Irvine.

He and his wife, Teresa, have two children, Russell and Grace.

Mr. Burton is a Federal Appointee.

Mr. Burton is the Co-Chair of the Strategic Development Committee.  He also serves on the Nominations, Environment, Social and Governance, and Finance Committees.
