The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department will host the 4th  Airport Community Police Academy spring session beginning on Monday, April 06, 2020 and concluding on Monday, June 08, 2020.  The training sessions will take place on Monday evenings (except for holidays) from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the National Airport, Terminal A, Historic Lobby, Conference Room A.

This training opportunity allows our community members to become familiar with our department.  All classes will be taught by law enforcement officers who are experts in their fields.  Examples of the subjects include:  K-9 Explosive Detection, Internal Affairs, Criminal Investigations,  Special Response, Evidence Collection and much more.  The goal of the Airport Community Police Academy is to build on the positive relations established between the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department and the communities we serve.
