WASHINGTON DULLES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT FOR SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTE
NATIONAL AIR AND SPACE MUSEUM DULLES COLLECTIONS CENTER
NOW AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC REVIEW AND COMMENT
 

 

Pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act, as amended (NEPA) (42 US.C. 4321, et seq.) and the Council on Environmental Quality Regulations for Implementing the Procedural Provisions of NEPA (40 CFR parts 1500-1508), the Smithsonian Institution, in cooperation with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority and the Federal Aviation Administration, has prepared a Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for the National Air and Space Museum Dulles Collections Center at Washington Dulles International Airport, in Fairfax County, Virginia.    

The Draft EA is being made available to the public and federal and local government agencies for review and comment.  The record will be open for comment from July 13, 2016 until 5:00 p.m. August 11, 2016.  Please send all written comments and inquiries to Ms. Jane Passman, Senior Facilities Master Planner, Smithsonian Institution, PO Box 37012, MRC 511, Washington, DC 20013-7012 or by email at [email protected].
