Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is located in Arlington, Virginia, just across the Potomac River from the Nation’s Capital.
The Fire & Rescue Department operates out of Fire Station-301 which houses a battalion chief, EMS supervisor, 2 ARFF units an engine and medic unit. It also houses but crossed staffed a mobile command post, hazardous materials unit and a medical care support unit. There are also 2 boat houses which are designated North and South. They contain 2 airboats, 1 Boston Whaler and a Safe boat. Fire & Rescue Department personnel assigned to DCA answer approximately 3500 calls for service each year. These calls include automatic aid to the surrounding jurisdictions of Arlington County, City of Alexandria and the District of Columbia.
