In recent weeks, the employee General Lot and some employee Reserved parking lots at the Airport have become very close to capacity and on some occasions full.  Every effort is being made to accommodate those who need to park during the hours they are working at the Airport.

The Airport will continue monitoring vehicles that do not follow the 24 hour parking rule (168 hours for crew). The police will be chalking tires and writing tickets.  Employee Parking Lots are to be used by employees ONLY while working at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.

If any Reserved employee parking lot becomes full, employees with valid reserved hang tags are permitted to park in the General Lot at the south end of the Airport.

Note that the ability of those displaying a valid reserved hang tag to park in the General Lot at the south end of the Airport is a provision within the Orders and Instructions regarding Employee Parking at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.  Paragraph 7.E. states “Employees assigned a reserved parking permit may park in General Lot U or W, located at the south end of the airport if their designated Reserved parking lot is full.”
