Icy weather conditions are causing airlines to delay or cancel many flights at Dulles International and Reagan National airports this evening.
**Passengers should check directly with their airline to confirm the status of their flight before departing for the airport.**
Snow removal teams at Dulles International Airport are plowing roadways and runways and crews are in place at Reagan National for similar operations.
We are closely monitoring forecasts as the winter weather moves through the region.
Passengers should contact their airline for details about change fee waivers or to reschedule their flight. Many airlines have instituted liberal rebooking policies because of the inclement weather.
Further updates will be posted here and on Twitter.
