The Airports Authority values the small business community.  Some of our initiatives include: 

• 130 Educational and outreach opportunities offered to Small Local Business Enterprises (SLBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE)
• 2100 Certified firms in the Airports Authority’s database
• $132 Million spent with certified Small Local Business Enterprises (SLBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE)

The Airports Authority’s Office of Public Safety maintains the safety of the airports in our nation’s capital and the Dulles Toll Road while maintaining constant vigilance against increased security threats.  The Public Safety Communications Center (PSCC) is the nerve center for emergency communications.  In 2022, the PSCC received and/or responded to approximately:

• 115,771 Police Service Calls
• 5,953 Traffic Violations
• 3,809 Case Reports
