WASHINGTON DULLES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Metro 606 Warehouse CONSTRUCTION

AVAILABILITY OF FINAL SHORT FORM ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT AND FINDING OF NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACT

Prologis is proposing to acquire a sublease from the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) to develop warehouse space for logistics and distribution of goods in the Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) Area, which is currently undergoing high population growth. The Metro 606 Warehouse project at IAD includes construction of a warehouse complex comprised of four structures totaling 282,880 square feet (Proposed Action). The project site is approximately one mile north of the Airport at the intersection of Moran Road and Lockridge Road in Loudoun County, Virginia.

In conformance with the National Environmental Policy Act, MWAA has prepared a Final Short Form Environmental Assessment (EA). After careful consideration of the information contained in the Final EA, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has determined that significant environmental effects will not result from the Proposed Action. Therefore, the FAA has issued a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI).

Beginning May 12, 2023, copies of the FONSI and Final Short Form EA will be available for a 30-day public review at:

Loudoun County Library, Brambleton Branch,

22850 Brambleton Plaza,

Brambleton, VA 20148.

Please direct any comments or questions on the Final EA or FONSI to Colleen Regotti, Planning Department, Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, 45045 Aviation Drive, 3rd Floor, Dulles, VA 20166 or [email protected]
