The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority board of directors has named Associate General Counsel Grace Tilman to serve as the Authority’s ethics officer.
 

Tilman, who joined the Airports Authority in June from the Chief Counsel’s Office of the Transportation Security Administration, brings nearly 15 years of federal government experience in areas including employment law, labor relations, ethics and a broad range of other workplace, legal and political issues. She succeeds former Associate General Counsel and Ethics Officer Bruce Heppen, who recently retired.
 

Prior to her work at TSA, Tilman served in the Office of Chief Counsel at the Federal Emergency Management Agency as an ethics officer, trial attorney and labor relations officer. She holds a law degree from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin.
