The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority has named LaDonna Key as vice president for supply chain management. Her team’s responsibility will include more than $800 million in annual procurements for Reagan National and Dulles International airports and the Dulles Toll Road.
Key joins the Airports Authority after more than 18 years with Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. She brings extensive experience in supply chain management, procurement and contract administration, having managed major construction contracts and more than $3 billion in service contracts and improving processes and supplier performance.
“LaDonna Key’s expertise and knowledge of the airport and airline industries will be invaluable as the Airports Authority embarks on a period of major construction and renovation projects at our airports,” said Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Andy Rountree, who oversees the Office of Supply Chain Management.
Airports Authority President and CEO Jack Potter said, “We are indeed fortunate to have someone of LaDonna’s skill and experience in this critical position. Her leadership will play an important role in leading our Supply Chain function and facilitating contracts that deliver outstanding results. We welcome her to the Airports Authority team.”
Key is a licensed attorney who holds a law degree from Texas Wesleyan University and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from East Texas State University.
