Covered Walkway to Dulles Daily Garage 2 Opens

Washington Dulles International Airport opened a new covered bridge from Daily Garage 2 to the Terminal on Tuesday, May 11th.

"This newly-enclosed walkway will give our customers a direct connection to the Terminal and protect them from the elements," said President/CEO James E. Bennett of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. "Now both of our garages have convenient and enclosed walkways to the Terminal."

Dulles Runway Closed for Reconstruction

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority will close one of the three runways at Washington Dulles International Airport in order to complete a major pavement reconstruction project this summer. Beginning Monday, April 19, 2004, Runway 12-30, the east-west runway, will close until construction is completed this summer.

The tours of the art at the Airport will begin in Terminal B at the Information Desk. Tours will be conducted by the Airport Docents from 11:00 A.M. through 2:00 P.M. for both groups and individuals.
