Coplogic's Desk Officer Online Reporting System enables citizens to file police reports on-line and receive police reports and verification of status from the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department. Citizens enter the website and can make a police report pertaining to a variety of crimes, i.e., theft of purse, damage to privately owned vehicle. The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department will review the report and provide the citizen an electronic notification of report status and a printed police report (normally within 10 working days).

Your compliments regarding members of the Department will be forwarded to the appropriate Airports Authority Police Commander so that the Officer(s) involved may be properly recognized for their actions.
The Internal Affairs Division is responsible for investigating all allegations of misconduct and corruption involving all sworn members of the Department, as well as complaints and incidents involving all non-sworn members. All complaints will be accepted and investigated. Parking and traffic charges cannot be adjudicated by any member of the Police Department. You must contact the General District Court or Parking Abrogation Office as indicated on the traffic summons or parking violation issued by the officer.
Parking tickets are adjudicated by the appropriate jurisdictions where the tickets were issued.
The commanding officer of the Internal Affairs Unit reports directly to the Chief of Police. Additionally, the unit monitors and initiates other specific investigations directed by the Chief of Police. The Internal Affairs Unit is dedicated to preserving the integrity and internal security of the Airports Authority Police Department and is committed to maintaining the high professional standards set forth by the Police Department. All investigations will be conducted in a fair and impartial manner. Upon completion of an investigation the complainant and the officer will be notified of the outcome in writing.
The Internal Affairs Unit Commander, or the on duty Watch Commander, is available upon call to respond to any unusual incident or critical incident involving a member of the Department on a twenty-four hour basis.
Safety Service Patrol
The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority provides free services to assist motorists on the Dulles Toll Road and the Dulles Airport Access Highway.
The Safety Service Patrol is available Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 8:30 PM and weekends from 9 AM to 5 PM, and offers the following services:
Fixing flat tires
Providing emergency gas for an empty tank
Jumpstarting a dead battery
Removing disabled vehicles from travel lanes
Assisting with traffic control at accident scenes
Stranded motorists may dial #77 from their mobile phones to request assistance. Virginia State Police established this special phone number for stranded motorists. Calls placed to #77 from the Dulles Toll Road or the Dulles Airport Access Highway will be dispatched to the Airports Authority’s Safety Service Patrol. To help safety patrollers to better locate them, motorists should note the nearest landmark or mile marker when placing the call.
