The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority now provides a new Safety Service Patrol, a free service to assist motorists on the Dulles Toll Road and the Dulles Airport Access Highway. The Safety Service Patrol is available Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and offers the following services: • Fixing flat tires                         • Providing emergency gas for an empty tank   • Jumpstarting a dead battery      • Removing disabled vehicles from travel lanes

After an extensive public search, the board of directors of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, on Apr. 16, confirmed Bryan Norwood as the new vice president for public safety.
