The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority on Wednesday named Keith Autry as vice president for engineering and Dulles capital programs. The action fills a vacancy created when Thomas R. Beatty was promoted in March 2025 to executive vice president and chief operations officer. 

The Airports Authority board of directors approved the selection Wednesday of Ashley K. Carvalho as senior vice president and general counsel, succeeding Johnna Spera, who retires at the end of this week. Carvalho currently serves as senior legal counsel at the Massachusetts Port Authority, or “Massport,” which operates Boston Logan International Airport, Worcester Regional Airport, Laurence G. Hanscom Field, the Conley Container Terminal and Flynn Cruiseport.

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority announced Thursday that Chryssa Westerlund has been named executive vice president and chief revenue officer, responsible for airline business development, marketing and consumer strategy, concessions, commercial parking, corporate communications and government affairs for Reagan National and Dulles International airports, the Dulles Toll Road and the Airports Authority’s corporate functions.

On Wednesday, Thomas Beatty was named vice president of engineering. Beatty has been acting in the role since April 2021, when the previous Senior Vice President of Engineering Roger Natsuhara, was promoted to chief engineer and development officer.
