Dulles Airport Adds New Parking for Summer Travel Season

Alexandria, VA— Anticipating a busy summer travel season, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority will open an additional 2,000 parking spaces on Thursday, May 21. This will bring the total number of public parking spaces to 12,117. "We have seen continuing strong growth at Dulles, and served an additional one million passengers in 1997." said Airports Authority President/CEO James A. Wilding. "This summer will continue that trend so we are expanding our parking supply."

Dulles Airport Expands Parking - Opens New Economy Lot

Alexandria, VA— The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority will open over 1,300 parking spaces in a new Gold Economy Lot at Washington Dulles International Airport on November 3, 1998. This brings the total number of spaces at Dulles to over 13,500. "With this addition, we have added more than 3,400 new parking spaces at Dulles this year," said Airports Authority President/CEO James A. Wilding. "We recognize the need for parking at Dulles as new air service is added and passenger numbers increase."
