Badge Holder Responsibilities

FOR YOUR AWARENESS: The federal government has directed major U.S. airports, including DCA, to begin an enhanced employee inspection process at employee entrances to restricted space throughout the airport. To be prepared, it is important to check all clothing, bags, containers, equipment and/or any other materials for prohibited items to prevent them from being brought through the entrance.
Employees may bring personal food or beverage through these entrances, as well as tools of their trade.
Penalties for carrying prohibited items could include monetary penalties and suspension from carrying an airport badge.
