Anticipated Sole Source Awards

The Airports Authority anticipates awarding the following sole source contracts with an estimated value of over $50,000:

If you believe that your firm can fulfill any of the anticipated contractual requirements listed below, please complete the Airports Authority's Statement of Capabilities Form, available below, and e-mail it to  contracting@mwaa.com or hand deliver it to 2733 Crystal Drive, Arlington, VA 22202 prior to 5:00 PM on the posted deadline date.  All submissions shall be reviewed to determine if competition exists.

REQ-21-22470: Live Fire Training Facility and PA-28 Mobile Trainer Preventative Maintenance
Description: The Airports Authority requires servicing and preventative maintenance for the Live Fire Training Facility (LFTF) at Washington Dulles International Airport used by the Airports Authority's Public Safety Department. Alpine Metal Tech North America, Inc. (Alpine) was awarded the contract for "Live Fire Training Facility Improvements, IAD" (PO-19-12096). The LFTF utilizes Alpine’s proprietary software. Alpine is the only company that can service the facility and ensure all parts and components are working concurrently with the software.

REQ-21-23352: Mobile Adjustable Ramp System (MARS) for Public Safety Vehicle and Installation
Description: The Airports Authority requires a replacement for its current Mobile Adjustable Ramp System used by the Airports Authority's Public Safety Department. Patriot3 is the only known equipment and service provider for this propriety system.

REQ-20-26824: Plymovent Vehicle Exhaust Extraction System Maintenance, DCA & IAD
Description: The Airports Authority requires inspection and maintenance services for Plymovent Vehicle Exhaust Extraction Systems located at Fire Stations at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). Air Cleaning Technology is the exclusive dealer of Plymovent vehicle exhaust extraction systems in Northern Virginia (inclusive of Springfield), Maryland and the District of Columbia, and has the exclusive rights to sell, install and service Plymovent Vehicle Exhaust Systems, and is the only known source in the Metropolitan Washington area able to provide Plymovent vehicle exhaust system OEM Parts for this proprietary system.
