Project Summary
The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision to install a new high-level controller for the baggage handling systems at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). The Authority will provide the required servers, workstations, networking equipment, operating systems, and management applications. All software and hardware will meet the MWAA Office of Technology Standards. The existing High-Level Control System (HLCS) shall be replaced with a new, industry standard HLSC. The existing HLSC software shall not be ported to new hardware – all software shall be new, and of the latest revision offered by the HLSC Supplier. In addition, there will be a remote viewing area in Airport Operations Center. The high-level controller be operating within a VMware virtual server environment. All servers will be located off site.
