Description: The Airports Authority is seeking to acquire all necessary labor, supervision, management, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, testing, permits, and incidentals necessary to perform construction services under individual Task Orders for work to be performed at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) and/or the Dulles Toll Road (DTR). Description: The Airports Authority is conducting market research to identify qualified firms, assess industry capabilities and capacity, evaluate marketplace interest, and gather information that may assist in the development of a future procurement strategy for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services. A major consideration for this requirement is the potential inclusion of a Project Labor Agreement (PLA), and the Airports Authority is seeking to specifically evaluate marketplace interest in light of this potential requirement.
The Airports Authority has initiated a long-term Capital Construction Program (CCP) at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), extending from 2025 through 2039. The CCP includes significant capital investments intended to modernize airport facilities, improve passenger experience, enhance operational efficiency, and accommodate future growth. The CCP includes several major initiatives, including Terminal 1 redevelopment, renovations and improvements to existing Terminal 1 facilities, demolition of the existing Terminal 1 "Banjo" facilities, roadway improvements, south area redevelopment and other related Program requirements.

Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project Opportunities

Project Overview - Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project

Phase One of the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project constructed the new Metrorail Silver Line from the East Falls Church station on the Orange Line, through Tysons Corner and on to Wiehle Avenue in Reston. Phase Two will continue the line to Dulles International Airport and into Loudoun County.

Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project - Phase Two

Capital Rail Constructors, a joint venture of Clark Construction Group and Kiewit Infrastructure South, is the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority's design-build contractor for Phase Two of the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project, which will build 11.4 miles of track and six stations in Fairfax and Loudoun counties. Construction of Phase Two began in 2013 and will continue through 2018.
